Cristina Guerrero Nació en San Sebastián (España) en 1979.

 

Tuvo su first contacto con la écnica del óleo en 1988 en la academia del pintor Xabier Obeso, ubicada en Rentería donde reside la artista. Se formó, hasta llegar a la Universidad en 1997.

Se licenció en Bellas Artes en la „Universidad del País Vasco“ en 2002. Dicha formación se ha complementado con estudios y titulaciones en diseño, fotografía e iluminación, que utiliza como herramienta para su trabajo.

Seit 2004 konsolidiert es in der Escena Artística Internacional eine Reihe von Einzelausstellungen und Kollektiven zu unterschiedlichen internationalen Messen.

 

SEMEJANZAS

 

Cristina Guerrero en sus dipticos combina objetos de su vida personal y cotidiana con detalles de su cuerpo o del cuerpo de su pareja o incluso de sus hijos. Durante este proceso va descubriendo una correspondencia entre formas, colores y apariencias que le sirve para crear nuevas asociaciones. Guerrero prefiere así la representación realista, óleos que se caracterizan por su fidelidad al detalle y un uso veraz de luces y sombras. Las prendas de ropa, los alimentos, las joyas y demás accesorios retratados fueron reunidos personalmente por la artista tanto procedentes de sus viajes como de las compras del día a día. Con todo, los desprovee de sus características esenciales y les transfiere la interpretación del observador, conservando al mismo tiempo una relación consigo misma, con su propia vida y ambiente, estableciendo un vínculo entre el objeto y su anatomía. Cristina Guerrero erstellt Bilder, die eine erste Aussicht auf die Illustrierung eines Spiegelbilds haben, sie sind ungefähre Realität und Analogien, die von Anfang an nicht sichtbar sind.

Es la mirada de la artista la que revela el vínculo entre la vida y el entorno, personalidad y objeto, el cuerpo y la naturaleza. Así Surge Diversas y Heterogeneas conexiones que oscilan entre objetos lógicos, una dramática interpretación y la atrevida exageración.

La ejecución impecable, al óleo, dota a sus pinturas de un fascinante atractivo al que es difícil sustraerse. Fresca e imaginativa, su obra es asimismo un análisis sobre la relación entre la imagen-icono y the sociedad del S. XXI y aporta una renovada visión sobre la vigencia y actualidad del realismo.

SIMILARITIES

Cristina Guerrero in her diptychs combines objects from her personal and daily life with details of her body or the body of her partner or even her children. During this process, he discovers a correspondence between shapes, colors and appearances that helps him to create new associations. Guerrero thus prefers realistic representation, oil paintings that are characterized by their fidelity to detail and a truthful use of light and shadow. The items of clothing, food, jewelry and other accessories portrayed were personally collected by the artist, both from her travels and from day-to-day purchases. However, she deprives them of their essential characteristics and transfers the observer's interpretation to them, while maintaining a relationship with herself, with her own life and environment, establishing a link between the object and its anatomy. Cristina Guerrero creates images that at first glance give the illusion of a reflection, being in reality approximations and analogies that are not entirely evident from the start. It is the artist's gaze that reveals the link between life and the environment, personality and object, the body and nature. Thus arise diverse and heterogeneous connections that oscillate between logical objects, a dramatic interpretation and the daring exaggeration. The impeccable execution, in oil, gives his paintings a fascinating appeal that is difficult to escape. Fresh and imaginative, his work is also an analysis of the relationship between the image-icon and the society of the 21st century and provides a renewed vision of the validity and topicality of realism.
